Shipping & Return Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Backcountry Wok. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping and Return Policy.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 3-4 business days. (UPDATED STARTING JULY 19TH: WE ARE OPERATING ON A 4-5 DAY TURN AROUND TIME FROM WHEN YOU ORDER IS PLACED TO WHEN IT LEAVES OUR FACILITY. If you are unsure if your meals will arrive in time for your trip, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll be happy to help. We also recommend you check out our retail partners here. We expect to be back to normal turn around times by the first week of August)
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. This is based on the weight and the number of products.
Free Regular Parcel Canada Post shipping is provided on orders over $58. (*UPDATED FOR SUMMER 2020: WE HAVE UPGRADED REGULAR TO EXPEDITED SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $58)
Order confirmation & tracking ID
Shipping is made through Canada Post. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Shipping delays can occasionally occur.
Please allow up to 7 days once the order has been shipped for the package to arrive to you within Canada. Should there be any delays or if the package has not arrived within the 7 day period, contact Canada Post directly at 1-866-607-6301.
Backcountry Wok is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact Canada Post directly at 1-866-607-6301 to file a claim.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.
You have 14 calendar days from when you made the purchase to return the item(s).
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused, unopened and in good condition. Your item(s) must be accompanied with a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate the process.
Once we qualify your order for return, we will provide you with a shipping address and an approximate timeline for processing.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, according to the process outlined above, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, the original refund and return policy applies, and the transaction will be process to the credit card or method of payment provided for the purchase.
